You have 2 choices for your independent reading projects. You only have to do ONE assignment!
Option 1: Writing Assignment - Thinking Differently (EXAMPLE is attached to this assignment and posted in the classroom)
Option 2: Creative assignment - Music Playlist for your novel - Google Slide Assignment (EXAMPLE is posted in the classroom)
We are now in the 4th Quarter of 8th grade - Graphic Novels are no longer going to be accepted for independent reading project choices. Feel free to read those for fun - but - no longer accepted for actual projects.
I attached the rubric to this assignment, so you know what the criteria is. If you do your assignment electronically, you need to attach it to this assignment. If you turn it in on paper, you still need to turn in this assignment, with a note stating, "Turned in on paper."
This assignment is due by 6/9/2025. You have about 9 weeks to complete this project. This is the final grade for the 4th quarter!
